Revisions, additions

Recently, the concept papers for this summer's projects in the Philippines and Tunisia have been revised as more details become available. Soon, the concept papers for the other projects will be revised as well, to reflect the most current information.

You'll also notice that I've rapidly been adding names to the biography page, in order to announce the names of the fantastic musicians who will join us on projects in 2007. They are all terrific, and will bring enormous reservoirs of experience as well as a commitment to dialogue to this summer's projects.

Post-Qatar

The trip to Qatar was very eventful and productive, yielding many contacts for possible future ventures in cultural diplomacy.

On another topic, I enjoyed this article in a Chicago-area paper about Christina Castelli, who will join us on Project V.

Qatar

In about 23 hours, I'll head off to Qatar with the Juilliard Jazz Orchestra. I'm very excited about this trip, which will be my first experience performing jazz. I'll also cover the trip for the Juilliard Journal, and network for possible Music for the People projects in the future.
